Lake County Cares is currently seeking volunteers in the following administrative capacities:

Volunteer Referral Specialist
Help connect individuals with opportunities to serve. Respond to emails, talk by phone, or meet with individuals in our office. Good listening skills, creativity, interest in research, and experience with volunteering a plus. Training on agency database and detailed list of service opportunities in Lake County provided. Minimum 2-3 hours per week. Work can be done at LCC office or from home.

Agency and Municipality Liaison
Assist member agencies and member municipalities with questions related to Lake County Cares membership benefits and website needs. Good communication and problem solving skills required. Training provided. Minimum 2 hours per week; work can be done at LCC office or from home.

Publicity and Communications
Assist with writing press releases, constant contact articles, website stories, and brochure for various LCC programs and events. Time commitment varies. Work can be done at LCC office or at home.

Grant Writing
Assist with researching and writing mission-based grant proposals. Time commitment varies. Work can be done at LCC office or at home.
