The Giving Tree
The mission of the LCC Giving Tree outreach program is to provide children, adults, and seniors with a sense of hope during the holidays.

Since 2006, more than 1600 clients of agencies which LakeCountyCares serves have had their holiday wishes come true, thanks to the generosity of hundreds of Care Corps volunteers and Mariani Landscape in  Lake Bluff.

Thank You for Helping Make More than 800 Hundred Wishes Come True!

This year Lake County Cares partnered with the employees of Trustmark Companies in Lake Forest and the generous residents of Lake County to help fulfill a record number of wishes.  More than 800 mitten wishes were put put on display at the Trustmark headquarters and on our Giving Tree at Gorton Community Center.  Wishes were from families served by Catholic Charities; seniors in the care of Southeast Lake County Faith In Action; children served by the Salvation Army,  Boys and Girls Club of Chicago, Arden Shore, and Nuestro Center;  veterans served by PADS, adults served by Holy Family Food Pantry, and women served by NICASA. We are humbled by the generosity and kindness of so many volunteers who made sure that every wish was fulfilled.
